Harris Patel, PA, ATC founded Medical Game Plan in 2019 when he saw the opportunity to provide complete medical coverage by bringing the team to you. Friday night injuries don’t have to wait until Monday morning anymore! Onsite, Medical Game Plan will assess, provide relief, and refer you to one of our trusted medical providers to ensure full care. We’ll make sure you’re covered on and off the field.

Biography – Harris Patel, PA, ATC
Harris Patel, PA, ATC, started off his career as an Athletic Trainer in 1998. He has since returned to Emory University to become a Physician Assistant. As a member of several accredited associations, Harris has earned a reputation both locally and nationally and shares his in-depth knowledge of sports medicine to help his patients recover in the most comprehensive manner. He is known for his friendly demeanor, targeted assessments and expertise to get you back in the game
Throughout his tenure, Harris has provided care for world-renowned athletes including the University of Georgia’s football and track & field teams as well as the University of Alabama’s football and softball teams. Additionally, he has worked with the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Jets, and has been a part of the medical staff for numerous championships and competitions.
In 2007, Harris was elected by the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) in 2008 to be a member of the medical staff for the Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Since then, he has traveled to the last three Olympic Games and will travel to Tokyo, Japan for the 2021 games. He has traveled all around the world on various World Championship Teams providing sports medicine care to renowned athletes. Most recently, Harris has been working with the US Men’s National Soccer and NBA Event Medical teams to provide assistance to the organizations.
Locally, Harris has served as Norcross High School’s Director of Sports Medicine since 2009 and under his care, they have won 7 championships across their varsity teams.
Harris’s drive for competition and prioritization of health keeps the patient in mind. Through preventative, ongoing, and rehabilitation care he can empathetically work with athletes on a comprehensive plan to get them back in the game as soon as possible.
